Linden – Love
Latin: Cordata – meaning Heart-Giver
Born Saturday, 15th May 2021. Digit sum 7, numerologically Neptune,” The House of the Moon”, The Element of Water
The Pleiades/The Sevenstar/The Seven Sisters from whence comes Buffalo Calf Woman bringing the peace pipe to the people.
Zen, Brahmoism, Heartfulness, Sufism, Wu-Wei
Although Linden immigrated to our latitude some 7.500 years ago, and despite being the most prevalent tree for thousands of years, it does not – for reasons unknown – appear in the Ogham alphabet.

Linden wanted to be born at a sacred place at noon on the birthday of Maharishi Devendranath Tagore, founder of Brahmoism who says: “The pure, unsophisticated heart is the seat of Brahmoism”. He is the father of Rabindranath Tagore.
Master Babuji says:” Love Him who loves all”.
Linden wanted me to put the bowl with Silver Spring water at one meter’s distance from the tree, since this, She said, corresponds to the level on Her trunk, where Her heart sits. Next to the tree, a fast-flowing brook is running. I was to record the sound – the sound of Water, and Linden. Next, I was allowed to dip some of Her leaves in the water from the bowl, and so, I could move a little closer, and Linden began to speak, slowly and meditatively:
“Come, let us enter the depth of our hearts and meditate together… love, compassion, holistic communication, the oldest wisdom, silence, simplicity, accept – but not approval. Let us step outside the limits of time. Let us go beyond religions, politics, and ideologies, and meet in a circle of infinite light, let us open our arms towards each other, for alle our so-called contraries are but illusions, and we are all connected in an eternally flowing ribbon of love; Let me show you my heart so as to give you yours back.”
Once again, I was to dip Her leaves into the bowl of water.
” We are all a circle and a part of a greater circle: I am a circle, you are a circle, in these circles, those rings in the water, you see the Creation of the World. I embrace you and hold you, I embrace and hold everything. Love dissolves all illusions, kisses all your tears away as dew before the sun, gives you back your faith and peace of mind in what your soul has always known: That you are love and all you see is love.”
Reciting the Vedas: “There is only love, all else is an illusion”. “Fear is only present when love is absent”.
” I am the answer to your dreams, and when you look into my heart-shaped leaves, you read your soul, in every leaf, not unlike a palm-leaf reading. Each of my leaves is an open book, and each of my leaves is the door through which you may step into the light. Everything you seek within you, everything is in your heart. Let your heart be an open book to others. If you can be honest and brave and set yourself free, then no harm can come to your heart no matter the outer circumstances, and when no harm can come to you, your heart will shine with such eternal light, that the world will be affected and healed by this light, even after your death. Fear not, life will maintain it’s balance. When something perishes, something else shall live in life’s eternal dance. So, step out of your self-made prison and into eternity from whence you may calmly acknowledge reality as it is and act true. So, meet the task, that God has given you with presence, determination, and acceptance. Let your heart flow in this flow of light.”
” Go into your own heart, there you find the answer to all your questions”.
…. I could only say one word: Namaste.
Because of the heart-shaped leaves, Linden is called the tree of love and happiness. Linden is one of the few large trees, who is pollinated by insects and not by the wind.
In the old days Linden was considered as protective, also against lightning, so, consequently it was often planted near churches and marketplaces. Linden is very good for wood carving, for bast rope and woven belts. In Swedish linda means ties.
