And Rowan decided unexpectedly to be born on my master’s birthday, which is also the birthday of Confucius.

During the preparatory phase Rowan expressed a determination, a diligence, and a slow velocity. I knew that Rowan wanted to be born, but on the day itself, she did not announce Her presence until quite late. Even the messages from Her were given to me in a fast and unexpected manner. Nevertheless, Rowan’s birth was quite prolonged, since it lasted for 2 ½ months, but the last week was quite intensive, with a permeating intensity and sagacity beyond words, where my own stress and confusion gave way to a great centered calmness.

So, I set out for Silver Spring to fetch some water and was told to go to a different part of the spring as the one I was used to! Back in my own land I placed myself in front of the Rowan appointed to me but was told to put my chair on the other side of the trunk, where I had never sat before. Some things should be done differently; Rowan said it was to unlearn old patterns and habits in order to become more present. Also, I should do many things widdershins, which is counter clockwise, as this is the way of woman, for Rowan told me, she is a feminine tree and represents woman power.

There is a deep honesty and uniqueness about Rowan, and, at 5:35 p.m., when I had placed the bowl of Silver Spring water between her trunks, I was told to put two of her red berries (which I was to pick up from the ground) in the bowl, and when I then stepped back and regarded her, she spoke her first actual words:

“Not one Rowan is the same, they crook and stretch as they are inclined to!” And I had to admit, that this was true, having seen quite a few rowans.”

“What is truth? Your soul is part of God. You may know your own truth, but only if you are in contact with your entire soul, and only then, if you are honest and acknowledge your soul precisely as it is. If you are not in contact with your soul, you cannot grasp your own truth, and even less the truth of others. First when you know your own truth, you may begin to understand the truth of others, and the truth of others can only be fully grasped through your heart, not through your mind. When you have connected with all truths through your heart, then you enter the Unified Field and become one with all souls, one with God. This is when you become a part of Truth Eternal.”

Truth Eternal is an expression, which was also used by the beloved master, Babuji.

… and I nodded and smiled, for in Heartfulness, where I meditate, we say “Feel attuned to your heart, and you will quite naturally feel more harmony with others too”.

That’s when Rowan continued to speak:

“I am right here in my own center. No one can scare me, for I trust in my soul and in my own intuition. This is how I protect the house, where I am rooted.”

” I am truth, presence, centered right into marrow and bark! I cut through and remove all things undesired from your mind, remove all demons, look at you with determined eyes, and in doing so, I let you forget all the illusions, that you hold so tight. Have a drink of my red juice and wake up! It is bitter, for sure, but healthy!”

” I am a guardian at your door and cry out if something is not as it should be. Quick as lightning I show you precisely what is right and what is wrong, what is true and what is untrue. I ground you, for I can grow in the strangest places, I am your lightning rod, your Jacob’s ladder to the heavenly fire!”

” If in doubt what to say and what to do, I shall answer, loud and clear without words, for I am sagacity beyond words. I shall not waver from your side, when your limits are pushed, for he who tries to, shall first face truth”.

And Jesus said in this context a little earlier in the birthing process of Rowan: “Verily I say to you: Give unto every man what belongs to him and take not what does not belong to you. With every taking, you shall lose an equal measure of your soul, for every man is given the measure which is allotted to him. My father’s kingdom is love, and love has a mansion for every soul. Go there and find your soul.”

And Rowan said:

” Remain centered within your own feelings. Acknowledge those feelings, for then you would not think, that it should be necessary to express your feelings in front of others.”

1 Chronicles 22:13 “Be strong and courageous, do not fear nor be dismayed.”

 … Now the sun comes round and shines through the branches from an angle that I have not seen before, for, like I said, I was sitting on the other side of Rowan… The sun shines on the tree and on me.

” No one can upset me, no one can hit me off ground, I will be calm, precise, and truthful, always.”

And as a conclusion, the words from. John 8:31-32 came to me:” Continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and that truth shall set you free.”

Truth, to be able to distinguish, determination, diligence, slow velocity, calm, intensity, sagacity, calm centeredness, honesty, removes demons, personal power, unlearn old patterns and habits, presence, women power (also applies to men), lightning rod, guardian, removes all undesired stuff from your mind, boundaries, protection, precision.

Like Thorn, Rowan belongs to the Rosacea, the Rose Family. Rowan berries are not sour, as the fox said, but bitter. They must be boiled first lest they damage liver and kidneys. But as a juice they taste good and are very healthy, if you remember to freeze them first, and then add a bit of apple and quite a lot more elderberries, and, after having simmered for 20 minutes, steep and cool for an hour and gently add a bit of licorice powder and a lot more honey. In Denmark the berries have been used for thousands of years, especially as medicine, for rowan berries contain vitamin A and more vitamin C than lemons. But rowan was also considered sacred; A rowan saved the god Thor. During a journey to the north country, he was almost drowned by a giant woman who was peeing over a ledge so that it started an entire river, but he saved himself at the last moment by grasping a rowan, which had seeded itself in a tiny fissure in the rock. A rowan can be sowed by birds in the strangest of places, like in another tree, or on a building. Then it is called a flying rowan and is, if possible, even more magical. If you are lucky to find a flying rowan, you may be allowed to cut a twig from it and take off the bark. In doing so, you get a” white twig”. When you put it in your mouth you become invisible, according to Danish lore at least, this is why Danes have the expression “to throw a white twig after something”. In ancient lore it was custom to plant a rowan in front of houses for protection.
